    Compare bus models

    Choose your first bus

Start with a HiAce when your purchase budget is the priority: it costs ₦18,000,000, has 14 seats and has the lowest purchase price per seat. Choose the Luxury coach for the largest passenger capacity, or the Night sleeper for a service with sleeping berths.

All ₦ amounts are game currency. Check your purchase quote and upcoming game-week bills before adding a bus.

Buying the vehicle is the first cost. Keep money for its required crew, union dues, insurance and each night's fuel; the purchase screen also includes the applicable setup bills.

The HiAce has the lowest base fuel bill at ₦30,000 per operating night and the lowest required crew wages at ₦120,000 per game week. It is the simplest starting choice when you need to keep both the purchase and operating budget small.

The Luxury coach has 59 seats for a ₦110,000,000 base purchase price. Choose it when your goal is capacity: it holds more passengers than either other model. Its optional conductor costs ₦60,000 per game week. Without a conductor, the base seat-fill estimate drops by 8 percentage points. Compare the line’s bookings estimate with that wage before hiring; the final bookings also depend on your fare, the day’s demand and available capacity.

The Night sleeper has 30 seats for ₦220,000,000 and requires both drivers, whose combined base wages are ₦300,000 per game week. Its base nightly fuel is ₦140,000. Sleeper fares use twice the standard model fare, while an optional hostess costs ₦80,000 per game week; without her, the base seat-fill estimate drops by 5 percentage points. Choose it after comparing the line’s quoted fares and expected bookings with those larger costs.

Compare Purchase price per seat for the cost of adding capacity, then check the separate nightly and game-week bills. Select a model that fits your cash and crew budget together.

Fuel is charged for each operating night. Required crew wages, optional crew wages, union dues and insurance use game-week bills; the first bill can cover the remaining part of a game week. The base passenger ride timers are 60 real seconds for HiAce, 70 for Luxury coach and 80 for Night sleeper; a transfer to the departure station adds its own travel seconds. Economic events and your cover can change fuel costs. Insurance explains the separate ownership covers, and Money & Income helps compare the bus budget with your other income.

    Routes and reference fares

Route Standard reference fare Use it to compare
Lagos ↔ Abuja ₦22,000 Your line's quoted fare and expected bookings
Lagos ↔ Port Harcourt ₦20,000 Your line's quoted fare and expected bookings
Abuja ↔ Port Harcourt ₦21,000 Your line's quoted fare and expected bookings

Choose the route you want to serve, then select the model and read the purchase screen's estimate for that line. The reference fare anchors the route comparison; your line's fare setting, bus model and passenger demand shape the actual takings. For a service you ride as a passenger, use Transport & Cities.

Fleet limits and settings to check

The fleet limit is 12 buses. Registering a company has a ₦2,000,000 base fee, so keep that separate from the first vehicle's purchase price.

Check these settings before the next run:

    • Crew: every model needs its required driver roles filled. The coach can add a conductor and the sleeper can add a hostess. Unpaid crew and dues can put a vehicle off the road.
    • Route and fare: choose the intended connection and inspect its fare setting. After changing a fare, wait 10 real-time minutes before changing it again; the menu shows the time remaining.
    • Condition and service: the automatic-service threshold is 70 condition points for buses covered by a mechanic; below 15 condition points, a bus is parked for wear. Budget for repairs and service while the vehicle is still running.
    • Mechanics: you can hire up to 3, each covering 4 buses and costing ₦200,000 per game week. Match that coverage to the fleet you plan to run.
    • Insurance and parking: check the company's insurance setting and whether the bus is parked. Parking a bus still leaves its crew wages due each game week.

Use the operating estimate for the line when deciding on another purchase. Seats set the available capacity; the bookings estimate tells you how much of it the next service is expected to use.
