By default, only the first ₦1,000,000,000 of savings earns interest, and the principal across all bonds you currently hold is limited to ₦500,000,000. Savings accrues interest in real time using the rate history; a bond pays its term return at maturity. Read the bank's current rates, remaining bond allowance and maturity date. Keep game-week rent money available before buying a bond, because its principal stays locked until the real-time term ends.
Property fund and the LAPO loan
The Lagos Property Fund has a ₦1,000,000 minimum cash entry and a base distribution of 1% per game week. It divides that return into evening payments, rounding each down to ₦50, with an offline catch-up limit of 8 evenings. Use the displayed weekly amount when budgeting your return.
Cash withdrawals use a game-week allowance of 5% of the starting fund value, with a ₦1,000,000 minimum allowance, capped by your available fund balance and allowance already used. The exit fee is 5%. The fund caps cumulative cash contributions at ₦1,000,000,000. Withdrawing money reduces your fund balance but leaves those contributions counted, so it does not reopen contribution room. The LAPO loan provides ₦60,000, creates ₦72,000 owed and uses a ₦12,000 repayment per game week. Choose it only when your plan can cover those repayments alongside rent and household spending.
Weekly tax allowance and bands
The game tax week starts on Monday. Wages and other taxable earnings have separate weekly running totals, with tax deducted as income arrives.

Each rate applies to its slice, so crossing a band changes tax on the income above the boundary. Tax deductions round to the nearest ₦50. For ₦1,100,000 in one income category during a game week, the first ₦1,000,000 is tax-free and the remaining ₦100,000 at 20% gives ₦20,000 base tax. Compare salary as base gross pay, then check the bank tax view for your weekly totals.
Property tax is switched off in this build. Business running costs, rent, loan payments and transaction fees remain separate costs to plan around.
