Find training for your next career rank

Cooking, Charisma, Fitness, Coding, Music, Hustle, Dance, Comedy and Photography each have their own training actions.

Start with the entry and promotion requirements on Jobs. A skill used to enter a job can differ from the skill for a particular career track, so use that job's next-rank requirement to set your training goal. Return to the career menu after training to check the level you reached.

Filter to home equipment when you want to train between shifts, or to your city for an activity that also supports Social or Fun. For practice without buying equipment, tap your character in the home or venue scene to open the action menu. The directory includes these choices:

Choose Practise Stand-up for the larger base Comedy contribution in less game time. WhatsApp Hustle has no fixed activity fee; its earnings depend on your current game state.

Which equipment and session should I choose?

A Laptop Desk supports Practice Coding: its full 120-game-minute session supplies 2.4 base Coding training points. An Acoustic Guitar's Practice Guitar supplies 1.3 base Music training points over 60 game minutes. A Grand Piano's Play the Piano supplies 1.9 over the same 60 game minutes, making it the stronger base training session when you have that instrument.

For Hustle, Read Business Book on a Bookshelf supplies 1.2 base training points over 60 game minutes. For Photography, Practise Photography with a DSLR Camera & Tripod supplies 1.4 over 60 game minutes. For Charisma, Practice Speech at a Standing Mirror supplies 0.975 over 45 game minutes. A Ring Light & Phone Stand supports Film a Comedy Skit, supplying 1.5 base Comedy training points over 60 game minutes.

Cooking equipment supports recipes, so choose a meal that also fits your food needs and pantry. Party Speakers or a Home Theatre System support Practise Dance Moves, supplying 0.65 base Dance training points over 30 minutes. For Fitness without buying home equipment, University of Lagos offers Jog Round the Track: its 45-minute session supplies 1.125 base Fitness training points and a fixed activity fee of ₦0.

Which courses and traits match my skill?

Chef supports Cooking; Banker, Lawyer and Real Estate Pro support Charisma; Doctor and Pilot support Fitness; Civil Engineer and Software Developer support Coding. Musician / Artiste supports Music. Entrepreneur, Fashion Designer and Money Smart support Hustle, while Journalist / Broadcaster supports Comedy. Use regular activities to train Dance and Photography; those skills have no direct short-course link.

Use Education to compare course fees and career links before enrolling. A relevant course certificate can lower a career's entry skill requirement. Foodie, Smooth Talker, Gym Rat, Tech Bro or Sis, Musical and Hustler are the direct skill-matching traits for Cooking, Charisma, Fitness, Coding, Music and Hustle respectively. Compare their bonuses and need changes on Character & Needs.

Why is my skill growing more slowly or fading?

Training slows whenever your skill reaches another whole level, including during one activity. Traits apply their skill boosts; Fast Learner adds 20%, mood above 40 adds 15%, and LAPO origin adds 25%. Skills cap at level 10. Train with your needs in good shape so the session also fits your daily routine.

An unused skill has a 7-game-day grace period, then loses 0.05 per game day. The game keeps a floor based on your best level: the higher of that whole level minus 2 and half that best level rounded down, with a minimum of 0. For example, a best level of 8 protects level 6: after the grace period, progress above 6 fades by 0.05 per game day. Use the skill again to refresh its last-used day and protect the progress above that floor.
