Match cover to what you own and do: Home protects your residence, Possessions protects belongings, Vehicle protects the garage, and Health covers medical events. Business cover handles business damage, while Investments cover softens economic downturns affecting operating income.
Incident figures are the base risks and damage rules. The game adjusts risk for weather, location, condition and the activity you are doing.
Choose cover for what you own
| Cover | What it applies to | Start here when… |
|---|---|---|
| Home | Fire, flood and storm damage to your current residence | You want to protect the home you live in |
| Possessions | Theft of eligible household belongings and your phone | You own items you want to protect |
| Vehicle | Accidents and break-ins for cars in your garage | You own a vehicle and use it for trips |
| Health | Medical emergencies and hospital care | You want help with medical costs |
| Business | Damage and stock loss at small businesses you own | You have purchased a small business |
| Investments | Downturn effects on businesses, haulage and bus operations | Your income depends on those operating assets |
For a vehicle owner, compare Vehicle cover with the value held in your garage and the journeys you make. For a small-business owner, compare Business cover for a damaging event with Investments cover for reduced takings during economic trouble. Choose the category that matches the cost you want help paying.
Open Phone → Assurance to compare the tiers offered for each cover category, their premium, the amount you pay yourself and the payment limit. Vehicle, Business and Investments choices depend on owning the assets they cover. Review Investments cover after adding another business or more operating vehicles so that your selection includes the assets you want covered.

For non-driving incidents, the game splits the per-game-day base risk across 24 game-hour checks: each eligible check starts from one twenty-fourth of the listed value, then applies weather, location and condition changes. Road accidents start from the listed risk on each eligible drive. Use the risk period when comparing incidents; the game-hour checks and changing conditions determine what happens over the game day. Flood and storm checks require rainy weather; vehicle and business incidents also require the relevant possessions.
The damage calculation uses the affected asset or event's value and the player's loss cap. Burglary removes 1 or 2 eligible items and values the items taken, up to your loss cap. Compare that exposure with the Possessions policy's payment limit, and read the cover screen's deductible and maximum payment before choosing a tier.
Keeping risk and repair costs manageable
Maintain your home and vehicle condition. Open Phone → Assurance and choose Fix it up to restore your home's condition to 100%. If you cannot afford the displayed repair fee, save that amount before ordering the repair. A neglected residence increases fire, storm and burglary risk; worn vehicles raise road-accident risk. Rain also changes relevant incidents, so review your travel quote and cover when taking a car out in wet weather.
Furniture repairs and household upgrades are explained in Homes & Furniture. Compare your vehicle's base price and fuel in Cars, or compare the business income you want to protect in Businesses.
Ownership cover and passenger travel insurance
Ownership cover follows the possessions and operating assets selected in Assurance. Passenger travel insurance is a choice tied to a journey and its travel mode. When you are taking a bus, flight or other intercity trip, use Transport to compare the trip insurance charge and travel-event risks.
Choose ongoing cover from your household and ownership risks, then read the journey's insurance option when booking travel. That gives you a clear check at each decision: what asset the policy covers, what event is relevant and what the game will charge.
