Open Gov on the game map to see the government panel and election entries. Compare the office's campaign fee with the cash you can spend, then check its allowance per game day and role before entering a race.
The offices and ₦ amounts on this page belong to the game world.
What does each policy change?
City policies can change the costs and activities you already use. Read the active policy in the government panel before comparing a travel quote, grocery shop or work shift.
The named policies
| Policy | Effect in the game | Useful next check |
|---|---|---|
| Transport subsidy | Danfo and Keke fares are halved | Compare the ride quote on your next local journey |
| Minimum wage raise | Base shift pay receives a 15% increase | Check your current rank and grade before comparing pay |
| Owambe season | Continuous Fun gains at places receive a 30% increase | Choose the place activity that fits your Fun need |
| Food subsidy | Food and grocery costs receive a 30% discount | Check the shop or meal's final quoted price |
| Steady light | Power cuts become shorter and less frequent | Check power when starting an activity that needs electricity |
Choose your next action around the policy that affects it. Transport subsidy is useful when your trip offers Danfo or Keke. Food subsidy helps with replenishing supplies; Owambe season helps when you want Fun from an activity. Minimum wage raise acts on your shift pay, while your rank, grade and other pay modifiers still matter.
Use Transport, Food & Groceries and Jobs for their full comparisons. Cities & Places lets you pick an activity for the policy and opening time you have now.
Offices, campaign fees and allowances
| Public office | Base campaign fee | Base allowance per game day |
|---|---|---|
| Governor of Lagos | ₦50,000 | ₦25,000 |
| Senator for Lagos | ₦50,000 | ₦15,000 |
| President of Nigeria | ₦100,000 | ₦25,000 |
The Governor and Senator share the lower campaign fee. The President has the same base allowance per game day as the Governor and the higher entry cost. Keep your living and travel budget available alongside the fee, then use the office's race panel to check your eligibility.
The governor role includes a city-wide policy and announcements. Check the official ballot’s entry deadline and voting window before entering.
Commissioner portfolios
The governor can appoint commissioners for Finance, Works, Health and Transport. The commissioner allowance is ₦10,000 per game day. A commissioner is an appointed cabinet role; use the governor's cabinet panel for the current appointment options.
| Role | How to find its entry |
|---|---|
| Governor | Open Gov, then the governor election section |
| Senator or President | Select the corresponding office in the government panel |
| Commissioner | Open the cabinet section for the portfolio and appointment |
