These points show the base training contribution before level slowdown. Growth slows as your current skill rises, including when you cross a level during the activity.

Choose a home and plan your furniture

Choose a home by weekly rent first, then check room size and guest capacity. Buy the furniture that gives you the activity you need, and leave clear space to move around it.

Home rents are per game week. Furniture prices and moving quotes use game base values; your purchase quote can change with your player wealth tier.

In Lagos, Face-me-I-face-you in Mushin costs ₦2,400 per week, has room size 6 and allows 3 guests. Self-contain in Yaba costs ₦6,000 per week, with size 7 and 5 guests. Choose Mushin for the lower weekly bill or Yaba when you want more room and a higher guest limit.

In Abuja, the Kubwa Single room costs ₦2,800 per week; in Port Harcourt, the Rumuokoro Single room costs ₦2,600. Each has room size 6 and space for 3 guests. Filter by your city before comparing rent, because a cheaper home in another city changes where you live and travel.

Room width is the length of one side of its grid. Weekly rent per grid cell of room width compares rent against that side length; use the furniture dimensions to plan what fits inside the room.

The UNILAG Hall of Residence lists the lowest weekly rent at ₦1,200, with a ₦200 weekly rent per grid cell of room width. It is the student housing option: check the game's housing choice for your student status. For a regular Lagos start, Mushin's ₦400 weekly rent per grid cell of room width helps you see how much of your rent budget goes toward room width.

Foam Mattress costs ₦1,800 and uses 2 grid cells, giving a ₦900 price per occupied cell. Spring Bed uses the same footprint for ₦7,800 and ₦3,900 per cell. Choose the mattress for the smallest sleep budget; read each item's activities before paying for a more expensive bed.

The Laptop Desk costs ₦18,000 and uses 4 cells. It adds Practice Coding, Freelance Gig, Run Instagram Shop and Scroll Naija Twitter, making it a useful choice when you want home activities alongside a Coding career.

Furniture quality increases positive need effects; a lower activity-time multiplier makes actions faster. Leave a route to the item, check whether its activities need power, and use Skills for training choices. Food covers ingredients and pantry spending.

Moving, rental homes and property tax

A normal move-in budget includes two weeks' advance rent and one week's agent fee. Your move quote applies your wealth price tier. Regular weekly rent is charged from Saturday 09:00, with arrears added when due; ownership, an active lease or prepaid rent changes the applicable bill.

The rental system allows up to 5 investment properties. Offered weekly rents range from 70% to 150% of the property's market rent. Leases run from 1 to 4 game weeks, with advance bookings limited to 8 game weeks. Rental-property resale uses an 80% share of the purchase basis; read the property quote before buying or selling.

Property tax is switched off in this build. Plan for rent, maintenance and staff wages when choosing a larger home.

Building and home upgrades

For a build on an owned land plot, choose an eligible design in Houses and check its construction quote. The base build budget uses 85% of the design's ownership purchase value. A stage separates labour from materials; labour uses a 30% share of that stage's budget.

The build menu supplies the rounded stage quotes for your chosen design. Keep cash for the next stage and compare land prices and risk before committing to the plot.

For Inverter + Solar, Smart Lighting and Whole-Home Re-wire, the minimum price follows your wealth tier and the rent-based amount rounds to ₦50. Premier Care uses a fixed ₦5,000,000 minimum: compare it with 0.4% of net worth rounded to the nearest ₦50,000 and pay the higher amount. Premier Care requires ₦100,000,000 net worth. Read the HANDI quote before ordering.

Repairs, servicing and household staff

A repair uses the item category's repair share of its quoted price, with a base ₦500 floor. Essential repairs for players below ₦5,000,000 net worth are kept between ₦500 and ₦1,500. Servicing uses 6% of the item price with a base ₦2,000 floor, covers 30 game days and reduces the breakdown rate to a quarter. Open HANDI to see the item's repair or service quote.

Initial staff pay covers the time until Saturday, then wages are due weekly with rent. Staff cannot be hired from a hostel bunk. Match your home and possessions to the requirements above, and keep the next game-week payment available. If staff leave after a missed wage payment, hire them again through Phone → Staff when your budget is ready.
